ALPHA INTEGRATION
Integrative Goal

Create a Regional Non-Partisan Voter Assistance and Education Foundation 501(c)(3) which will promote voter engagement, registration, empowerment and decrease voter suppression among regional citizenship.

Create regional collaborations with non-profit organizations to implement strategies that educate communities on public policy.

Identify grants to support chapter’s initiatives to increase voter engagement, registration and empowerment in localities.

Utilize various sources of voter communication (mass media, news, educational forums, blogs, and publications) to promote and empower voter education.

Provide support to Brothers who are qualified candidates that aspire for local, state, and national elected positions.

Develop a timeline, action-plan, and voter education tool-kit for chapters during each election cycle.

Host training webinars at the beginning of election season or for key elections that are specific to each district.

Enhance Regional Mentorship opportunities dedicated to enhancing the educational, social, and personal development of Black male youth.

Develop a measurable and standardized curricula for chapters to implement our national and special projects towards Black male youth with emphasis on Black culture.

Create opportunities for chapters to provide beneficial certification programs to mentees in the following areas: education, health care, programming automation agriculture, drone, cyber security, and cloud computing.

​Create a scholarship pipeline connecting chapter level mentorship groups in the Southwest Region Chapters to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)

Request Alpha mentors have annual background checks.

Create intervention and support systems for Brothers in need of culturally sensitive health care.

Design a regional initiative entitled “Brother’s Minds Matter” in which brothers can have access culturally sensitive mental health care from Brothers who are licensed professionals within their districts.

Develop and promote novel construct of the Brother’s Keeper Program curriculum that will encourage individual mental health assessments, customized mental health services, as well as self-therapy.

Design a regional initiative entitled “Self-Care Before Service”, and create a proactive health management system that will promote healthier lifestyles for Brothers.

Optimize strategic partnerships with major corporations and businesses, which will allow the Southwestern Region to expand its resources, offer incentives to the Brotherhood, and expand our advocacy to foster community relations.

Produce internships and career opportunities for College Brothers that will expand our College Life to Corporate Life Imitative (C2C) efforts.

Create a regional initiative for 1st time homebuyers that will provide financial literacy, offer incentives for low interest rates, and extend subsidies for down payment and closing cost.
